What you will do

• Lead the development of critical marketplace value management services, tools, and data pipelines.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable and resilient backend services.
• Build integrations with third-party APIs and tools.
• Support and evolve existing systems to improve functionality and scale.
• Maintain the technical vision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across countries and cultures.
• Mentor engineers, facilitate regular one-on-ones, and support team engagement and development.

Requirements

• Prior software engineering and people management experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing and mentoring multiple multidisciplinary software engineering teams.
• Experience architecting large-scale, multi-tier web applications and cloud-based architectures using AWS or GCP.
• Experience with RESTful services, SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB, and computer science fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Ruby, Go, or C++, plus clear spoken English for group communication.

Nice to have

• Golang experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development.
