What you will do

• Provide second line oversight of Data, AI and Emerging Technology risk frameworks.
• Review and challenge governance, controls, and risk management activities across the business.
• Support assurance reviews and thematic risk assessments.
• Monitor emerging technology trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Develop risk metrics and management information, and produce reports for senior leadership and risk committees.
• Work with first line teams to assess policy implementation and control effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience in second line risk, audit, or assurance within Financial Services.
• Knowledge of data governance, data management, AI governance, privacy, or technology risk.
• Ability to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Strong report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and modern data environments.
• Knowledge of evolving regulations including GDPR or AI-related frameworks.

Nice to have

• EU AI Act knowledge.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
• CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CDMP, DCAM, or AIGP certification.
• Emerging technology risk experience.
• Insurance sector experience.
