What you will do

• Ensure compliance with UK motor insurance distribution regulations, with a key focus on FCA requirements (including IDD, SMCR, Financial Crime, Credit Broking).
• Provide prompt, clear, pragmatic compliance advice on strategic projects, new initiatives, and day-to-day business queries.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organised actions, evidence, records, and deadlines to deliver compliance outputs to a consistently high standard.
• Coordinate and lead key deliverables such as regulatory returns (e.g., RMAR), Compliance Monitoring Plan, board and committee packs, and compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct horizon scanning to monitor and assess regulatory and legislative developments and translate them into concrete, timely actions.
• Partner with UK Country Manager, Group Compliance Team, UK DPO, and senior UK stakeholders to strengthen risk and compliance engagement.

Requirements

• Around 5 years of exposure in UK insurance compliance (including law firms) and/or the insurance distribution market.
• In-depth working knowledge of UK regulatory requirements for insurance distribution activities, in particular FCA requirements.
• Ability to quickly understand complex issues and identify what matters most.
• Commercially minded approach balancing regulatory requirements, customer outcomes, and business objectives.
• Strong organisational skills with a structured, disciplined approach to priorities, records, actions, and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including explaining technical requirements clearly.
