What you will do

• Develop and implement lean manufacturing processes for complex components with tight tolerances.
• Create machining processes using CAD/CAM tools like Siemens NX and Partmaker.
• Design fixtures, select cutting tools, and produce detailed shop documentation.
• Support APQP activities including DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design improvements.
• Mentor and support manufacturing engineers and technicians in tooling and gauging.

Requirements

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Significant experience in manufacturing or process engineering, ideally in aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of DFM, DFSS, APQP, and Lean methodologies.
• Proven CNC programming expertise using 3D CAD/CAM software.
• Experience with sliding head machines and advanced processes like EDM, grinding, or heat treatment.
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
