What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-scale real-time and batch data pipelines.
• Define and oversee the data architecture while ensuring operational excellence and observability.
• Provide strategic technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Manage complex data products while collaborating with diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own cloud-based infrastructure components from end-to-end.
• Navigate complex domain challenges with multiple cross-team dependencies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data or Software engineering.
• Strong technical foundation in backend and distributed systems with significant Java experience.
• Proven experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Flink.
• Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Significant professional use of AI agents.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with batch technologies like Spark.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Professional experience using Python or Scala.
