Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support treasury applications for securities lending, portfolio financing, repo trading, financing costs, FX hedging, and collateral management.
• Collaborate with Treasury and Portfolio Management users to address business challenges and changing market requirements.
• Build and improve cloud-deployed microservices using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Develop performant, supportable code, reusable components, and firmwide libraries.
• Participate in Agile delivery and provide global Level 3 support.
• Mentor junior team members in technology and career development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Java development experience.
• Strong design and architecture skills, including microservices experience.
• Experience leading strategic technical initiatives from inception to completion.
• Experience with relational databases and messaging systems; Kafka is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across regions and time zones.
• Demonstrated ownership and a consistent record of delivering results.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience in portfolio financing, fixed-income trading and settlement, or collateral and margin management.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, and build automation.
