What you will do

• Design and develop scalable applications for securities lending, FX hedging, and collateral management.
• Collaborate daily with Treasury and Portfolio Managers to solve complex business challenges.
• Build and maintain microservices deployed to AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure codebase performance and supportability by contributing to firmwide frameworks.
• Provide Level 3 support and participate in agile development processes.
• Mentor junior team members in technical skills and career development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong background in software design and architecture, preferably with microservices.
• Proven track record of leading strategic technical initiatives from inception to completion.
• Experience working with relational databases and messaging systems like Kafka.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across different regions and time zones.
• Demonstrated ownership and a consistent track record of delivering results.

Nice to have

• Background in financial services, specifically equity financing, fixed income, or margin management.
• Experience with frontend technologies including React and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS) and DevOps methodologies like CI/CD.
