Technical Product Manager (Aviation)

Technical Product Manager (Aviation): Leading the end-to-end definition, delivery, and operational evolution of the OptiDescent module within the OptiFlight suite with an accent on bridging engineering, operations, and commercial strategy. Focus on backlog ownership, defining complex technical requirements, and ensuring the scalability and performance of flight optimization solutions.

Location: Must be based in Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid role with up to 2 days/week remote).

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product definition, roadmap, and delivery of the OptiDescent module.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts between Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Customer Success teams.
• Define and maintain the operational model for deployment, monitoring, and incident management.
• Support sales enablement, product positioning, and strategic customer engagements.
• Prioritize the product backlog to balance feature development, technical debt, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Solution Engineering.
• Proven expertise in aviation software, flight operations, or fuel-efficiency optimization.
• Deep understanding of aircraft performance, aerodynamics, and operational airline processes.
• Strong experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and actionable requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with or strong curiosity for AI/ML-powered products and predictive optimization systems.
