Senior Cost Manager MEP (Data Centre Projects)

What you will do

• Analyse cost reports and review them regularly with senior management.
• Prepare budgets using detailed cost modelling and benchmarking analysis.
• Manage project costs against budget, including cost reviews, value engineering, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Oversee financial close-out activities, including settlement of vendors.
• Lead commercial change management and change evaluation efforts.
• Oversee RFPs through procurement for project services and products, and lead commercial risk management.
• Review analytics for project portfolio cash flow and earned value analysis.

Requirements

• Extensive cost manager experience focused on MEP, ideally from a consultancy background on large and complex projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and ability to read services drawings and schematics.
• RICS chartered or actively working toward completion (support available).
• Degree or comparable qualification in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
