Senior Engineer – Power Systems Integration

Location: Burnie, Tasmania, Australia; site-based and onsite five days per week

What you will do

• Develop and support product configuration and systems integration solutions.
• Translate engineering requirements into scalable configuration rules and processes.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead configuration testing, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve complex product configuration and data issues.
• Support new product introductions and engineering change activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with product configuration, systems integration, engineering systems, or product development in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Understanding of product structures, bills of materials, engineering change management, and configuration principles.
• Exposure to PLM, CAD, product configuration, or other enterprise engineering systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Burnie, Tasmania five days per week.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mobile machinery power systems.
• Knowledge of software and control systems.
