What you will do
- Produce user-focused materials that clearly describe the operation of software.
- Develop administrator-focused installation and system configuration manuals focusing on deeper technical concepts.
- Update and maintain documentation for Sibelius, Pro Tools, and related products.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Product Management teams.
- Follow established processes for updating documentation and tracking changes throughout the product lifetime.
Requirements
- Fluent English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Based in the Philippines and able to work US East Coast operating hours (UTC −04:00).
- Familiarity with Pro Tools (v2024.10 or later).
- Ability to read musical scores and familiarity with music notation software.
- Proven experience in technical writing.
- Proficiency with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
Nice to have
- B.S or B.A in engineering or technical communications.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a technical writer.
- Experience with MadCap Flare, MadCap Central, or creating content in Markdown.
- Domain knowledge in audio recording, music production, and post-production workflows.
- Experience with Media Composer, NEXIS, or Adobe systems (Photoshop, Illustrator).
