What you will do

• Manage and conduct physical and virtual audits for commercial lines policies.
• Examine financial and business records to verify exposures and determine premium basis.
• Travel to insured locations (70-80% of time) to perform on-site audits.
• Resolve audit disputes and communicate findings to the underwriting team.
• Maintain technical expertise in company policies and insurance regulations.
• Mentor and train junior staff on premium audit topics.

Requirements

• Must reside in the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, OH, WV, DE, or MA).
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• 3+ years of experience as a physical Premium Auditor.
• Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory, including overnight stays (20% travel).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and internet research tools.
• Ability to climb stairs and carry 20 pounds consistently.

Nice to have

• College degree in Insurance, Accounting, or Finance.
• Carrier experience.
• Associate in Premium Auditing (APA 91/92) certification.
