Entry-Level Field Integrity Engineer (Civil)

Location: Must be based in Rochester, New York, United States (On-site role with 75% field travel).

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Conduct integrity assessments of pipelines, tanks, and industrial infrastructure.
• Perform field inspections, corrosion surveys, and cathodic protection testing.
• Coordinate and observe non-destructive testing (NDT) activities.
• Review inspection reports, GIS data, and engineering documentation.
• Identify integrity threats, degradation mechanisms, and repair priorities.
• Prepare detailed field reports and engineering summaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Materials, Corrosion, or Electrical Engineering.
• Must be able to perform field work in industrial environments and travel to project sites.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong interest in asset integrity, corrosion, and infrastructure engineering.
• Ability to communicate effectively and solve technical problems.

Nice to have

• Internship or field experience in industrial, utility, or energy environments.
• Familiarity with NDT methods, protective coatings, and cathodic protection.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• EIT/FE certification.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or inspection management software.
