Claims Intelligence Analyst

TL;DR

Claims Intelligence Analyst (Finance/Insurance): Supporting the Counter Fraud team by identifying and reviewing suspected fraudulent claims and policies with an accent on advanced intelligence investigations and data analysis. Focus on building professional relationships with law enforcement and intelligence suppliers to improve fraud savings and reduce indemnity spend.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Sevenoaks, UK (Hybrid)

Salary: £27,000–£35,500 per annum (plus performance bonus)

What you will do

• Investigate suspected fraudulent claims and policies using specialized intelligence tools.
• Deliver actionable intelligence products to reduce claim losses and support general claims teams.
• Handle, analyze, and evaluate highly confidential datasets and documents.
• Present complex information clearly to stakeholders and law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain and extend professional relationships with intelligence suppliers and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with DPA, FCA, and TCF regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship (minimum 1 year remaining on Graduate or Post-Study Work visa).
• Knowledge of claims or underwriting best practices, particularly in leakage control and risk management.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills for producing detailed investigation reports.
• Experience with fraud detection tools and intelligence analysis software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Subject to successful DBS and financial background checks.
