What you will do

• Conduct intelligence-led investigations using internal and external data sources.
• Analyze customer activity and transactional behavior to identify economic crime risks.
• Make risk-based decisions regarding case outcomes and customer relationships.
• Prepare regulatory disclosures and reports as required.
• Manage investigations within agreed quality standards and service level expectations.
• Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and improve investigative processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring or Economic Crime investigations.
• Strong knowledge of UK financial crime legislation including POCA, MLRs, and SAR requirements.
• Proven ability to analyze complex transactional data and perform open-source research.
• Experience in customer due diligence and evidence-based risk decision-making.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Business & Commercial Banking structures and high-risk industries.
• Professional financial crime qualifications such as ICA or ACAMS.
