What you will do

• Develop, improve, and validate stress methods.
• Contribute to all stages of the software development life cycle for stress tools, including coding, verification, and validation.
• Provide continuous support to Stress teams regarding methods and software.
• Perform project work related to structure analysis, including stress analysis, overall aircraft sizing, and Multi-Disciplinary Optimisation (MDO).
• Collaborate and interact with international structure analysis teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Mandatory experience in FEM analysis and structure analysis using non-numerical/handbook methods.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
• Familiarity with agile software development processes.
• Advanced level in German and English required, with fluency in preparing written technical documentation in English.

Nice to have

• Programming skills in FORTRAN.
• Good understanding of the application of AI methods in software development.
