What you will do

• Design complex digital electronic circuits for signal processing, instrument control, and data compression.
• Develop high-speed digital electronics, including multi-gigabit serial links and high-speed memory-to-FPGA interfaces.
• Verify circuit performance via simulation, worst-case analysis, derating, and signal integrity analysis.
• Supervise PCB layout activities for multilayer and rigid-flex high-reliability PCBs.
• Test and validate circuits in the laboratory and under extreme conditions during qualification and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical design, radiation engineering, and FPGA design.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a comparable discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in digital electronics hardware design, including FPGAs and microcontrollers.
• Experience with high-speed digital interface standards such as JESD204, DDR memory, PCI, or Wizard Link.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and spacecraft communication interfaces (SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceFibre).
• Proficiency in Python or C/C++ for controlling automated test setups.
• Experience with ECAD design and simulation tools like Siemens PADS Professional, Xpedition, Spice, or HyperLynx.
