What you will do

• Design high-power energy storage PCS hardware architectures and define critical technical solutions.
• Analyze, select, design, and optimize bidirectional AC/DC and DC/DC, three-level, and full-bridge power topologies.
• Select and apply IGBT and SiC MOSFET power devices, including gate-driver circuit design.
• Lead power PCB reviews and optimize parasitics, EMI performance, thermal paths, and manufacturability.
• Establish Double Pulse Test capabilities, evaluate power devices and hardware assemblies, and use test data to improve designs.
• Drive rapid prototyping, system integration, debugging, failure analysis, certification support, reliability validation, cost optimization, and PCS product roadmap development.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of power electronics product development experience, including at least 5 years developing energy storage PCS, photovoltaic inverters, UPS systems, or renewable-energy power converters.
• End-to-end experience taking high-power power electronics products from requirements definition through design, prototype validation, and mass production.
• Expertise in PCS hardware architecture, power topologies, semiconductor applications, gate-driver design, thermal design, EMC, derating, reliability validation, and cost optimization.
• Experience with high-power PCB design and Altium Designer or comparable EDA tools.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, and hardware debugging and failure localization.
• Familiarity with PLECS, PSIM, LTspice, or Saber and with IEC 62477, IEC 62109, IEC 61000, UL 1741, or IEEE 1547.
