What you will do

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and key services including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and IIS.
• Design and support virtualized environments using VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Deploy and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Automate system administration tasks and routine processes using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and enforce security best practices and patch management.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and provide technical mentorship to junior administrators.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of professional experience in Windows system administration.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience (13 years total).
• Ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.
• Must be based in Austin, TX for 100% on-site work (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
