Senior Consultant - Digital Engineering

Location: Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, New York, or Atlanta, United States. Travel up to approximately 50% is required, including onsite work at client locations.

Base compensation: $105,600–$199,480 per year, with potential additional variable compensation, bonuses, or commissions.

What you will do

• Contribute to Engineering and R&D transformation programs in manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace and defense.
• Support model-based engineering and model-based enterprise initiatives, including PLM, MBSE, digital twins, and digital thread solutions.
• Assess current-state processes, define improvement opportunities, and translate technical requirements into business value.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape digital roadmaps and future-state engineering operating models.
• Support proposals, client presentations, RFI/RFP responses, contract pursuits, and account expansion opportunities.
• Use data, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to optimize engineering performance and support decision-making.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in digital engineering, software delivery, or technology consulting, including ownership of delivered workstreams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Experience delivering transformation programs within Engineering or R&D for manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace and defense organizations.
• Strong understanding of PLM processes and the value of MBE, PLM, and MBSE approaches.
• Experience with model-based engineering, model-based enterprise, digital twins, or digital thread initiatives.
• Strong structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills across technical and business audiences.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Exposure to AI or GenAI use cases in software engineering, including code generation, intelligent automation, or predictive analytics.
• Consulting or advisory experience with client-facing delivery and proposal development.
• Experience with platform ecosystems, product-centric delivery models, thought leadership, or engineering innovation initiatives.
