Manager (Texas)

Location: Must be based in Texas (willingness to travel up to 30% of the time primarily within the state)

Salary: $78,000 – $93,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as project manager for school system implementation and design projects, tracking workflows and stakeholder activities.
• Collaborate with superintendents, cabinet-level leaders, and civic partners to plan and implement school transformation plans.
• Track and report progress and outcomes across multiple grants and philanthropic investments.
• Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with potential state and district partners in Texas.
• Create community-focused materials and support the design of programmatic strategies for sustainable education initiatives.
• Travel to rural regions to provide on-the-ground implementation support for projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in K-12 education, higher education, workforce development, or consulting/strategic planning.
• Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time primarily within Texas.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple components.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across differences and earn trust from diverse stakeholders.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to translate ideas into compelling messaging (e.g., PowerPoint).
• Entrepreneurial mindset and deep motivation to drive high-quality outcomes for underserved students.
