Electrician

Compensation: $33 - $38 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot building electrical systems.
• Execute electrical preventive maintenance programs.
• Install and repair generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, and circuit breakers.
• Diagnose electrical issues using blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
• Calculate load requirements for wiring and electrical equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of Electrician experience within a government facility.
• Valid electrician license and experience in commercial electrical systems.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
• Ability to pass a government background check.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb 50-foot vertical ladders, and operate forklifts.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarm systems.
