What you will do

• Supervise, mentor, and support construction inspection staff while allocating resources based on project needs.
• Monitor on-site contractor activities to ensure full compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Perform advanced engineering inspection practices, including complex measurements and quantity verification.
• Review and approve daily reports, field documentation, and as-constructed sketches for accuracy.
• Act as the primary liaison between field inspection teams, contractor staff, and agency representatives.
• Coordinate inspection phases and assist in assembling final estimate and project closeout packages.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferred.
• 6+ years of construction inspection experience, including supervisory or lead-worker responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and infrastructure construction methods, materials, and industry practices.
• Proficiency in reading construction plans and technical documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 35 lbs).
