What you will do

• Lead regional Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) teams for DOT and municipal transportation projects, including roadway, bridge, and utility work.
• Manage the project lifecycle from pre-construction to final acceptance, ensuring adherence to contract documents, budgets, and schedules.
• Perform monthly CPM schedule reviews and approvals to maintain project timelines.
• Coordinate directly with owner representatives and contractors to strategize complex operations and resolve contract challenges.
• Oversee administrative staff in the preparation of all documentation for final estimate submissions.
• Identify and pursue eligible, profitable projects for the Florida CEI units.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum 10 years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
