Hunome (Hunomics Ltd) is a collective sensemaking platform. The platform delivers deliberative intelligence, yes AI is part of the picture. We are a remote and diverse team of 10. The first product for Free Forever tier was launched in 2021. All in the team are working shareholders. 2026 we shift to our Premium paid product.

What we are looking for, please read carefully :) is this: Ready to work full on for the hours that we state (20hrs/week), ready to work on unusual code/architecture (not the easy what ever stuff, you cannot just point AI at it and sit back), proactive in your stance to ship, wanting to make your mark in the world, able to persevere to where the revenue and funding flow and deliver your parts to make that happen. You are self-driven, manage yourself well and helpful to the team. And lastly, you are not looking for a salaried job but a startup role and you know what it is like, startups are not for everyone. You would represent what many would call a great senior developer, you know what it means to be senior developer. You understand this well if you already have startup experience, highlight that for us. We would notice this difference in the first few weeks and months and if you're not sure you can do the hours and have the skills then best not to apply, it costs a lot to a startup in time and money to onboard and see inaction.

Having another part-time job that pays a salary while we together make Hunome into your dream 100% company works well. So, an immediately salaried 'job' is not what you are after with Hunome but making your coding skills matter within a startup for the potential for a massive return with the success. So, equity first deal with Hunome, later salary added once funded as we progress, together. We make it possible for you to take this startup step in a part-time role as a working shareholder.




ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer who can architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern technologies. The ideal candidate should be passionate about clean code, best practices, and continuous learning. Our startup environment and plans for growth mean that there's lots to do and plenty of opportunity (including AI and machine learning) to make a difference, so you definitely won't be bored!




TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
* Languages & Frameworks

* TypeScript/JavaScript expertise (5+ years)


* Node.js & Express.js for backend development


* React.js & Next.js for frontend development


* GraphQL and RESTful API development and implementation




* Database & Storage

* PostgreSQL for relational data


* Neo4j for graph database


* Database design and optimization experience




* Development & Operations

* Git version control


* Docker containerization


* CI/CD pipeline experience


* Azure/Cloud platforms expertise




* Testing & Quality

* Jest and React Testing Library


* Unit and integration testing


* Code review experience








WORKING CONDITIONS
* Commitment of 20hrs per week on average in exchange for ownership in Hunome (Hunomics Ltd). Anything less in hours, consider this carefully, and you will be in constant catch-up mode with others covering for you. Serious roadmap, serious team, serious progress is what we need to be looking for together.
