Salary: $100,000–$140,000

What you will do

• Lead and perform roadway design and prepare full PS&E packages for bid.
• Develop typical sections, alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and traffic control details.
• Apply AASHTO and UDOT standards while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
• Conduct and oversee drainage and stormwater design components.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while performing QA/QC reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in roadway/transportation design with construction plan set experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering.
• PE license in Utah (or ability to obtain within 6–12 months).
• Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior staff.

Nice to have

• UDOT project experience and knowledge of UDOT CADD standards.
• Municipal coordination experience.
• Experience preparing PSE/estimates and performing QC reviews.
