What you will do

• Oversee Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and State & Local Tax (SALT) compliance, including calculations, workpapers, and returns.
• Manage federal and state audit inventories, responding to information document requests (IDRs) and resolving disputes with auditors.
• Provide strategic tax guidance for new or expanding business transactions, including product sales and purchase contracts.
• Identify and secure federal and state economic incentives for investment and operational expansions.
• Provide tax support for dispositions and acquisitions of company subsidiaries or equity interests.
• Lead the recruitment, training, and professional development of the North America Tax team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management.
• 10+ years of tax experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in a “Big 4” CPA firm.
• Fluency in Accounting for income taxes and significant experience in U.S. Consolidated tax return preparation.
• Working knowledge of international taxes and transfer pricing principles, especially for Canadian and Mexican markets.
• Ability to travel for business less than 25% of the time.
