Language & Reading Tutors

Location: Remote within Texas, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Illinois, or Ohio, United States. Many assignments operate during Pacific Time hours.

What you will do

• Deliver individualized and small-group virtual instruction tailored to students' reading levels, literacy goals, and learning profiles.
• Create structured lesson plans covering phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and essay writing.
• Adapt instruction in real time to student engagement, decoding challenges, and comprehension needs.
• Track student progress and communicate reading growth and language milestones to families and school district partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working with students who have educational needs.
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned with student goals and accommodations.
• Strong virtual instruction skills, including video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and online student engagement.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, and quiet workspace.
