Procurement Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote (United States); 20% travel requirement

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key component suppliers and contract manufacturers to support operational objectives.
• Maintain real-time intelligence on pricing and lead times for critical components to inform quotes and contracts.
• Own the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle within ERP and PLM systems, including pricing reconciliation.
• Manage shipment tracking and coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to protect manufacturing schedules.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Finance on component substitution and bill of materials updates.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with MRP and Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory management frameworks.
• Proven track record in international sourcing, particularly with suppliers in Europe and Asia.
• Direct experience using Epicor or comparable enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM.
• Working knowledge of one or more European languages.
• Familiarity with HVAC, data center cooling, or industrial equipment sectors.
• Experience supporting a company through an ERP implementation or migration.
