What you will do

• Design and develop complete power panel electrical systems from concept to production-ready documentation.
• Create comprehensive submittal packages including single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and bills of materials.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to assembly teams during panel wiring and component integration.
• Train and audit quality testing teams on procedures like hi-pot, ground loop, and breaker configuration.
• Collaborate with sales and mechanical teams to ensure technical feasibility and project alignment.
• Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical support to customers post-delivery.

Requirements

• Strong background in electrical engineering with hands-on experience in switchboard or power distribution systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and schematic development.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to mentor and train technical teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Must be able to work onsite in Long Beach, CA or Houston, TX.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of UL standards (UL 891, UL 67, UL 1558) and testing protocols.
• Experience working in a UL 891 shop environment.
