What you will do

• Prepare detailed electrical schematics, single line diagrams, and communications network drawings.
• Develop control wiring for automatic transfer controllers, breaker interlocking, PLC equipment, and power quality monitoring systems.
• Manage and finalize electrical bills of materials (BOM) and support the handoff to production.
• Collaborate with mechanical and automation design teams to resolve integration issues and meet project timelines.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure a smooth production process.
• Create test scripts to validate the functionality of control schemes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Working knowledge of NEC and UL standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Aptitude for problem solving applied to electrical control design.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain design revisions.
• Legally authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and SEE Electrical.
• Knowledge of low voltage switchgear and basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proven understanding of specific UL standards, including UL 1558, UL 891, UL 489, and UL 1066.
