What you will do

• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand electrical grid capacity for future data center projects.
• Conduct technical evaluations of potential interconnection points, including feasibility and capacity assessments.
• Prepare detailed load interconnection applications and develop conceptual single-line diagrams.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, construction, and land teams, as well as external utility partners.
• Ensure all interconnection activities adhere to regulatory standards and utility requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation of interconnection processes and project milestones.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical infrastructure engineering, focusing on power distribution and load interconnection.
• Strong understanding of power systems architecture and grid interconnection processes.
• Proven experience navigating utility processes to secure interconnection points.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure basic requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to visit potential sites.
• Must be based in the USA.
