What you will do

• Support grid-compliance engineering for battery energy storage systems (BESS) and renewable energy projects across the EMEA region.
• Perform grid studies and modelling activities using tools such as PSCAD, PSS®E, or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• Contribute to feasibility, locational, and preliminary technical assessments for grid-connection strategies.
• Review third-party grid-modelling studies, including technical checks and clarification of assumptions.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, customers, consultants, and grid operators.
• Develop internal tools, processes, and documentation to improve grid-compliance workflows.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Currently enrolled in a Master of Science (MSc) program in Power Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Solid academic foundation in power systems, electrical networks, and grid-connected equipment.
• Exposure to power-system modelling or simulation tools (e.g., PSCAD, PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work through complex technical topics in a structured way.

Nice to have

• Programming or scripting experience in Python and/or C/C++.
• Proficiency in additional European languages.
• Exposure to AI-based tools (generative AI, data analytics, or automation) to improve engineering workflows.
