Network Engineer (AWS)

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 base salary plus bonus.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot on-premises, cloud, and hybrid networks.
• Manage cloud network components within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.
• Drive process improvements leveraging automation and open-source technologies.
• Monitor and analyze the network environment to resolve problems and meet defined KPIs.
• Maintain and update network hardware and software, including performing preventative maintenance.
• Develop reusable solutions to address common network problems.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of networking concepts including OSI Model, TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, IPsec VPN, and NAT.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts within AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language or configuration tool such as Ansible, BASH, or Python.
• Knowledge of wireless network design and troubleshooting.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule for after-hours incident response.
