What you will do

• Lead the design, analysis, and evaluation of compressor modules for aviation jet engines.
• Direct engine system and component test programs, defining objectives, instrumentation, and validation plans.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for component design within a cross-functional system design team.
• Coordinate design reviews across performance, controls, stress, materials, and additive manufacturing disciplines.
• Research and develop technologies to exploit additive manufacturing for improved product design.
• Collaborate with suppliers to procure hardware and resolve producibility and quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in gas turbine component design.
• Proficiency with CAD, ANSYS, and CFD software tools.
• Experience with aviation compressors and additive manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
