Salary: $127,000 - $223,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop tooling, infrastructure, and pipelines to support complex statistical analyses of driving performance at scale.
• Implement metrics and tags to provide a holistic understanding of model performance and discover critical training scenarios.
• Build and maintain a high-availability query service for low-latency analysis of large volumes of metric and tag data.
• Work with massive datasets from both real-world driving and the hirify.global World simulator.
• Ensure engineering excellence by writing high-quality, well-structured, and tested code.
• Assist in project roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery.

Requirements

• MS or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a similar technical field.
• 2+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Must be based in the US or Canada for remote work, or located in Toronto or San Francisco for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with data processing pipelines, ETL, and distributed computing.
• Experience building highly reliable and scalable web services.
• Understanding of cloud job orchestration, monitoring, and instrumentation best practices.
• Experience evaluating complex ML models or self-driving software stacks.
