What you will do

• Architect scalable backend services and infrastructure for AI applications using MySQL, Vitess, Kafka, Cassandra, Redis, and big data platforms.
• Build Python-based backend systems and business logic with Django, integrating databases and machine learning components.
• Write reusable, efficient code for high-performance web services and real-time AI analytics.
• Collaborate with AI teams to streamline data pipelines, optimize model deployment, and support AI product features.
• Drive technical decisions, communicate infrastructure strategies, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing and architecting large-scale web services.
• Expert proficiency in Python or comparable experience with Go, Java, or C++.
• Strong knowledge of databases, distributed systems, backend performance optimization, database internals, transactions, indexing, and schema design.
• Production experience with Django, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Cassandra, AWS, and large-scale server environments.
• Strong communication, ownership, attention to detail, and experience collaborating with AI-focused teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HTTP, networking principles, and API design patterns.
• Experience with Linux and operating system interactions in AI services.
