What you will do

• Inspect and document contractor work to ensure compliance with project schedules, contract documents, and plans.
• Perform complex mathematical calculations and field measurements of completed work.
• Maintain daily reports on contractor labor, equipment, and verified materials.
• Conduct on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches.
• Coordinate between field efforts and administrative staff to optimize reporting and monitoring.
• Mentor, manage, and train other construction inspection staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Obtain required certifications and pass qualification tests within specified time frames.
