Bridge Engineering Designer

What you will do

• Perform bridge inspections, assessment, and rehabilitation design.
• Support due diligence, investigation, remediation, and improvement efforts for infrastructure projects.
• Assist with research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of load-bearing structures (bridges, signs, walls, transportation facilities).
• Review shop drawings and provide field technical support during bridge construction.
• Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates, including report preparation and cost estimating.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Onsite work in the Wesley Chapel, Florida / Jacksonville, Florida area, with possible field exposure to weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, and bodies of water.
