What you will do

• Partner with the executive team and functional leaders on organizational design and workforce planning.
• Clarify hiring standards, promotion expectations, and the talent bar across all teams.
• Design and evolve the company's performance management philosophy.
• Coach managers to set clear expectations, provide direct feedback, and handle difficult personnel conversations.
• Own the operational foundation, including benefits, payroll coordination, and compliance.
• Partner with legal counsel on employment matters, investigations, and policy development.

Requirements

• Proven experience scaling a high-performing company through rapid growth (e.g., from 200 to 500+ employees).
• Significant experience coaching managers through performance management and difficult personnel decisions.
• Direct experience leading employee investigations and complex offboarding processes.
• Exceptional judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership discussions with hands-on operational work.
