What you will do

• Interpret technical drawings and assembly schematics to ensure accurate and compliant builds.
• Run, route, and connect point-to-point wiring and cables according to engineering specs.
• Perform precision mechanical work, including drilling, tapping, bolting, and riveting electrical systems.
• Conduct visual inspections and functional tests for resistance and operational defects.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve production roadblocks and refine blueprints.
• Maintain workspace safety and track inventory through accurate component tagging.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience wiring or installing electrical control and relay panels.
• Ability to effortlessly read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong manual dexterity and focus required for flawless hardware systems.
• Must be based in Long Beach, CA for onsite work.

Nice to have

• Experience with power systems equipment such as switchgear or battery systems.
• Technical trade certification or vocational training in a related field.
• Familiarity with terminations and harness building.
• Experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
