What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Facilities Operations Supervisors and Technicians.
• Own the maintenance, monitoring, and performance of HVAC, power distribution, UPS, and generators.
• Develop and optimize preventive/predictive maintenance programs and system performance KPIs.
• Create and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency response plans, and change management processes.
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and operational budgets.
• Provide 24/7 on-call leadership to drive rapid response to critical facilities incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience managing critical facilities in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing technical teams or supervisors.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in data centers.
• Proficiency with BMS, environmental monitoring tools, and CMMS.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work at heights up to 50 feet.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring PLC-based control systems and advanced BMS.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (EPA 608 Technician).
• Experience scaling facilities operations in high-growth technology settings.
