What you will do

• Own the end-to-end assessment of complex lending applications and non-conforming scenarios.
• Shape and refine credit frameworks, policies, and procedures to balance risk and flexibility.
• Structure complex deals in collaboration with brokers, business customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all credit decisions align with responsible lending obligations and the company's risk appetite.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline approval workflows and enhance scalability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design tools for nuanced credit decisioning.

Requirements

• Professional experience in residential lending across both conforming and non-conforming loans.
• Advanced financial and credit analysis skills with a strong ability to identify risk.
• Proficiency in verifying supporting documentation for fast and accurate decision-making.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be based in Sydney for a hybrid work arrangement.
