Senior Operations Treasury Officer (Treasury Operations): Processing and settling treasury transactions, payments, term deposits, and loan drawdowns in a banking operations environment with an accent on money markets, fixed income, derivatives, and payment systems. Focus on achieving zero failed settlements, supporting reconciliations and accounting accuracy, and improving operational processes and systems.

What you will do
- Action and settle money market, fixed income, derivatives, and NCD transactions through Austraclear, SFE, and RITS.
- Process retail, commercial, and wholesale SWIFT payments with a focus on timeliness and zero failed settlements.
- File, sort, and distribute confirmations and Rates Reset advice.
- Settle term deposits for Middle Market clients and loan or drawdown payments across wholesale and retail products.
- Support process improvements, new product implementations, and treasury system enhancements.
- Partner with Treasury Dealers, reconciliation teams, bank teams, mortgage teams, IT support, and external agents.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in bank or financial services, preferably in treasury operations or a back-office role.
- Understand of reconciliations and account implications.
- Degree in Economics, Commerce, Account, or Finance.
- Work knowledge of money market, fixed income, and derivatives products.
- Work knowledge of SFE, Austraclear, SWIFT, and RITS payment systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills, along with strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
