What you will do

• Oversee the full billing cycle, from reviewing contract terms to preparing and submitting final invoices.
• Communicate with project managers regarding contracts, change orders, and other contract modifications.
• Prepare complete invoice packages with supporting documentation and deliver them via mail, email, or electronic platforms.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, including unbilled balances and monitoring aged AR client balances.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable staff to ensure inclusion of billable vouchers and reimbursable expenses.
• Fulfill compliance obligations with government agencies by tracking and reporting commitments and subconsultant payments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience with project billing.
• Proficiency in Excel with the ability to create formula-driven spreadsheets.
• Experience with Deltek ERP systems such as Vision or Vantagepoint.
• Experience in the AEC industry or TXDOT/Department of Transportation invoicing (preferred).
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline (not required).
• Must be based in or able to work from Austin, Texas.
