Account Receivable Representative (Healthcare)

Location: On-site in Coppell, TX, USA

What you will do

• Adhere to billing guidelines and policies for insurance providers, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers-Comp.
• Review and analyze claims in the billing system to advance them through the lifecycle.
• Identify root causes for claim rejections and denials and escalate them to appropriate teams.
• Perform timely follow-up with payers to gather necessary information and document it in workflow tools.
• Communicate with clinic personnel and insurance companies to resolve claims efficiently.
• Execute ad-hoc special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable (AR) role.
• Working knowledge of HCPCS codes and experience with Medicare and Medicaid claims.
• Proficiency in the EPIC Billing System and MS Office/Google Suite.
• Experience in hospital and ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) claims follow-up.
• Familiarity with DDE systems.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Coppell, TX, USA
