What you will do

• Lead commercial design projects for Electronic Security Systems (ESS), managing specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Conceptualize system designs and determine requirements for access control, video, and intrusion systems.
• Develop detailed technical drawings (30% to 100% IFC/Shop Drawings) using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and support documentation for customer RFPs.
• Perform quality control reviews of drawings and recommend design changes.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Design Engineers and Associate Design Engineers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 5-7+ years of experience in ESS systems design, integration, or engineering.
• Proven experience leading engineering efforts in access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
• 2+ years of team leadership or engineering management experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
• Associate Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with platforms such as Lenel, CCure, Honeywell, Brivo, Milestone, ExacqVision, Eagle Eye, Axis, or Hanwha.
• Industry certifications in access control or video surveillance (e.g., Lenel Onguard, Milestone).
• Experience with enterprise-level networking and IP-based ESS architecture.
