What you will do

• Provide expert estimating leadership through the construction stage by managing relationships with project teams, general contractors, and clients.
• Develop and implement robust processes and systems for the estimating team.
• Evaluate initial cost plans to ensure work can be delivered within agreed timeframes.
• Own external contractor bid analysis and incorporate findings into estimates.
• Build a benchmarking strategy per industry and integrate relevant data into client estimates.
• Deliver regular estimate deliverable updates with quality controls, and support change order estimates and cost analysis when required.

Requirements

• 15+ years of estimating experience, with experience in the data center sector or similar.
• Proficiency across all stages of estimating, including peer reviews and project benchmarking within highly technical facilities.
• Experience building and leading an estimating team, including mentoring and guiding employees to deliverables.
• Strong business development and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent clients with contractors.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form.
