What you will do

• Lead the embedded BI function across PBM, Clinical, Operations, Client Success, and executive reporting.
• Establish delivery and quality standards for all BI initiatives to ensure consistency and impact.
• Manage the BI intake process, prioritizing demand and developing a clear roadmap.
• Oversee analyst capacity planning and provide professional development and coaching to the BI team.
• Partner with the Director of Analytic Platform to convert recurring reporting needs into reusable data products.
• Drive metric standardization and analytics governance across various business units.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience managing analytics or BI teams, including managing other managers.
• Proven track record of delivering dashboards and self-service reporting at scale.
• 6+ years of experience in quantitative analytics and data storytelling specifically with healthcare data.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database technologies.
• Experience with modern data stacks (dbt, Redshift, Snowflake) and BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Metabase).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to translate complex findings for executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python and dbt for exploratory analytics.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of data orchestration platforms like Airflow or dbt Cloud.
