What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable, analytics-ready data models using dbt to power PBM and care navigation ecosystems.
• Translate complex healthcare workflows and business rules into transparent, auditable, and maintainable data models.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data products for operational reporting and strategic decision-making.
• Implement automated data quality checks, testing frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
• Establish documentation standards, lineage, and engineering guardrails to promote data governance.
• Contribute to engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, and observability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or data warehousing.
• Strong expertise in dbt and modern analytics engineering best practices.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with data transformations using Python.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, and scalable data architecture.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery) and orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-enabled development workflows and tools like Claude or Model Context Protocol.
• Background in healthcare or health-tech data environments.
