What you will do

• Assess customer requirements from bid documents, schematics, and drawings to compile internal specifications.
• Serve as a technical resource for sales engineers during the development of bid proposals.
• Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams to ensure accurate costing and scoping.
• Draft equipment bills-of-materials and select suitable components and monitoring devices.
• Evaluate supplier proposals against customer requirements and internal standards.
• Participate in vendor meetings and travel occasionally to customer sites or manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with three-phase, oil-filled, medium and high-voltage transformers in the North American market.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Willingness to be on-call beyond typical work hours.
• Ability to travel occasionally as required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NEC, NEMA, IEEE, and UL requirements.
• Experience in a technical sales or engineering role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
